Good News: Xinjiang Oilfield Exploration and Development Research Institute Northwest Margin Project Passage Acceptance

On the afternoon of December 12, 2011, the geological comprehensive research project "Fine Structure Interpretation and Stratum Lithology Target Identification of Triassic Baiquan Formation in Mahu Slope Area" undertaken by Hengtai Aipu Company successfully passed the final acceptance of the expert group of Xinjiang Oilfield Research Institute. The project acceptance expert group fully affirmed the large amount and solid research work made by Karamay Research Center of Hengtai Aipu Company for the research topic, and highly appraised the technical support provided by the company for the well location research of the northwest edge project team, believing that the project results are rich and targeted. The evaluation well XX drilled two oil layers of 22.3m, and the exploration well XX drilled two oil layers.

The project acceptance expert group fully affirmed the large amount and solid research work made by Karamay Research Center of Hengtai Aipu Company for the research topic, and highly appraised the technical support provided by the company for the well location research of the northwest edge project team, believing that the project results are rich and targeted. The evaluation well XX drilled 22.3m in two oil layers, the exploration well XX drilled 14.1m in two oil layers and 35.9m in two poor oil layers, which made a new breakthrough in the exploration and evaluation of lithologic reservoirs in the Mahu slope area. The matching geophysical prospecting technology methods summarized for the slope area have good promotion value. In particular, I would like to praise the active cooperation, conscientiousness and dedication of several comrades of the project team who have been stationed on the site for a long time.
