In November 2018, the first large-scale compressed air energy storage system compressor experiment and testing platform independently developed and designed by the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences was completed in the National Energy Large-scale Physical Energy Storage Technology Research and Development Center and Bijie Branch of the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics Debugging. Xinjinhua successfully completed the research and development and production of the air compressor unit, the core equipment of the system. The data indexes of the unit are better than the design standards.
