Another successful application of Hengtai Aipu fracture prediction technology in Indonesia

On February 17, 2012, Hengtai Epu received a letter of recommendation from Indonesia CITICSreamEnergyLimited Company, which fully affirmed and highly evaluated the 2009-2006 project undertaken by the company in 2010. The project was undertaken by the Geological Comprehensive Research Department led by Chief Engineer Zhang Zhirang. After the start of the project, the research team overcame the short research period, heavy workload, poor data quality, strict quality control and pre-drilling.

On February 17, 2012, Hengtai Aipu received a recommendation letter from CITIC Sream Energy Limited, Indonesia, which fully affirmed and highly appraised the project "3D Offset Azimuth Inversionin in Oseil Field" undertaken by the company in 2009-2010.

The project was undertaken by the Geological Comprehensive Research Department led by Chief Engineer Zhang Zhilang. After the start of the project, the research team overcame a series of difficulties such as short research period, heavy workload, poor data quality, strict quality control, and high pre-drilling prediction risk. The project was successfully completed. The many well positions proposed in the project have been verified by subsequent drilling to obtain commercial oil flow, with a single well producing 700 barrels at the beginning of the day and a stable production ranging from 300 to 500 barrels.

In the recommendation letter, Party A pointed out that "the drilling success achieved through the excellent research work of Hengtai Aipu has reversed the passive situation of exploration and development of the oilfield in one fell swoop. At the same time, Hengtai Aipu's unique carbonate fractured reservoir prediction method and process also show a high degree of feasibility and credibility." Finally, Party A expresses its grand recommend for the successful application of Hengtai Aipu fractured reservoir research method in Oseil oil field in Indonesia!
