Russian Version of Silicon Valley-"Skolkovo" Innovation Center Delegation Visits

On the afternoon of October 22, 2012, a delegation of 8 people from the Russian Skolkovo Innovation Center dedicated to building Russia's "Silicon Valley" was accompanied by Mr. Zhou Guolin, Deputy Director of the Zhongguancun Management Committee, and Ms. Sun Xiaofeng, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department. He visited Hengtai Aipu Oil and Gas Technology Service Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hengtai Aipu") and attended a symposium specially organized by the company.
The Skolkovo Innovation Center was officially registered on May 21, 2010. The five priority research and development directions of the center are information technology, space technology, biotechnology, nuclear energy and energy conservation. It is preparing to build a new technology "incubation" base, Skolkovo Institute of Technology, in order to attract more enterprises to the location of the center in the future. Naomov, vice chairman of the Skolkovo Entrepreneurship Foundation, said in an exclusive interview with Xinhua in May this year that Russia is building its own "Silicon Valley." he is very optimistic about high-tech cooperation with Chinese enterprises and hopes that China can actively participate in its construction and development.
The Russian delegation came to Beijing from October 21 to October 26 to discuss the implementation of cooperation with the International Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Torch Center and the Zhongguancun Management Committee on the "Cooperation Framework Agreement between the Zhongguancun Management Committee and the Russian New Technology R & D and Industrialization Center Development Foundation (Skolkovo Foundation)" signed by China and Russia in June this year, under the organization and arrangement of Zhongguancun Management Committee, we will visit Hengtai Aipu, Xinwei Company, Renchuang Technology Group and Shenwu Environmental Energy Technology Group.
The symposium was presided over by Mr. Tang Chengfeng, deputy general manager of Hengtai Aipu, and attended by chief scientist Xie Guisheng and senior engineer Zhao Liangdong. At the meeting, Russian representatives, including Mr. Vanyukov Sergey, Director of International Projects of Skolkovo Foundation, Mr. Kislev Maxim, Director of Development of Skolkovo Science Park, and Mr. Shubin Sergey, Director of IT Industrial Park, gave a detailed introduction to the purpose and significance of the establishment of the Innovation Center and the preferential policies for enterprises entering the park, and looked forward to the great prospects of cooperation between Russia and China.
Next, the Russian representative watched the company introduction film of Hengtai Aipu with great interest, listened carefully to the introduction and technical report made by General Tang on behalf of the company, and had a clear and concise understanding of Hengtai Aipu's technical advantages and business development strategy, and expressed affirmation and support for the company's excellent technical reserves, huge development potential and contributions in information and energy-related fields. The two sides conducted in-depth and active discussions on matters of common concern.
At the end of the visit, the delegation of the Skolkovo Innovation Center said that the visit was fruitful and the two sides took a group photo as a souvenir.
