On June 18, 2014, Sir Sam Jonah, Chairman of Range Resources Limited Company, Mr. Rory ScottRussell, CEO, and Mr. Graham Lyon, non-executive director, visited our company. Chairman Sun Gengwen and General Manager Tang Chengfeng warmly welcomed the visit of Range delegation. The two sides jointly looked forward to the broad prospects of the Trinidad project cooperation, and further discussed the work plan of the oil field development plan and the exchange plan at the expert level.
Mr. ScottRussell introduced that the government of Trinidad and Tobago has recently introduced an investment incentive policy, which is expected to increase the income of its development projects by 20%. In addition, an expanded well in the South Quarry block has recently been put into operation, with a daily output of more than 100 barrels, which indicates the prospect of effective production increase in Trinidad project.
General Manager Tang Chengfeng said that in order to better and faster support the cooperation between the two sides, Hengtai Aipu will speed up the research process of the development plan. It plans to submit a review opinion on the deployment of the original well location in July, a workover and production increase opinion in September, a water injection test plan at the end of the year, and a comprehensive water injection development plan in the second quarter of next year. At the same time, the first deposit for project cooperation has also entered the approval process.
Sir Sam pointed out that Range's choice to form a strategic alliance partner with Hengtai Aipu can realize the complementary advantages of both sides, and this strategic alliance will definitely bring about a win-win situation.
Finally, Chairman Sun Gengwen pointed out that our cooperation with Range on the Trinidad project is in line with the policy orientation of the Chinese government to actively promote the expansion of cooperation with Latin American countries, and that Hengtai Epp values its strategic alliance with Range, which we believe will produce the desired results.
The visit of Sir Sam and his party will play a positive role in deepening the long-term strategic alliance and cooperation between the two sides, and lay the foundation for the smooth development of the Trinidad project.
