In September 2014, the Exploration and Development Research Institute of Tarim Oilfield organized a 16-member expert jury to conduct a final acceptance review of the project "Integration Research on Pre-stack Depth Migration Processing and Interpretation of Sinian-Cambrian in the Western Section of Yingma 32 Structural Belt. Tang Jin, chief engineer of Hengtai Aipu Xinjiang subsidiary, reported to the jury on behalf of the project team, fully demonstrating the company's data results in pre-stack time and depth migration processing, fine structure interpretation results, reef and beach body characterization comprehensive identification technology series, multi-level and all-round comprehensive evaluation of the target area, implementation of multiple traps, 2 exploration well location targets, providing realistic targets for the research breakthrough of deep subsalt dolomite in the north.
The results of the report were highly affirmed by the expert jury of the Institute. Experts from the judges pointed out that the Hengtai Aipu research team was closely integrated with Party A and exceeded the workload. Anisotropic pre-stack time migration and depth migration have good treatment effects on this area, with obvious improvement in seismic data characteristics, accurate fault homing, good imaging of the lower Paleozoic boundary inside the buried hill, clear characteristics of geological target reef beach, and clear boundary of igneous rock intrusion, it can meet the recognition of seismic reflection characteristics of special geological bodies and complex lithology of Sinian-Cambrian system, and achieve the purpose of processing. The workload of seismic interpretation is large, and new understanding of structure and fracture has been obtained. Combined with many technologies such as seismic forward modeling, seismic phase analysis, reservoir inversion and seismic attribute analysis, a series of comprehensive identification technologies for reef and beach body characterization has been formed, which provides new ideas for dolomite research.
The research results of the project reached the challenge target of the contract assessment, and the project finally passed the acceptance with a high score of 93.6 points. It shows that our company has strong technical force in processing, solid work in processing, interpretation and reservoir prediction, and has achieved good results, which opens a new situation for the company's sustainable development of integrated seismic processing and interpretation project services in Tarim Oilfield in the future.
