On August 28, the “Joining Forces for Central Asia Cooperation, Sharing a Win-Win Petrochemical Future” Special Seminar on Central Asia Market Development in the Petroleum and Petrochemical Industry, hosted by China Petroleum And Petrochemical Engineering Institute (CPPEI), was successfully held in Beijing. The seminar brought together leading domestic petrochemical enterprises, representatives of energy enterprises from the Central Asia region, and partners from across the entire industrial chain, serving as a high-level industry exchange platform for Central Asian market development. 

NEW JCM was invited to attend as a representative of outstanding Chinese enterprises going global. It deeply connected domestic and international supply chain resources, accelerated its expansion in the Central Asian market, and supported the practical and coordinated development of Chinese and foreign petrochemical industries along the Belt and Road.

At the seminar, Liu Yuwan, sales engineer of NEW JCM’s Central Asia Business Division, and Hu Mingyi, head of the Gas Turbine Technology Department, delivered special speeches successively on the theme of “Three Turbomachinery Synergy Serving Central Asia.” Liu Yuwan gave attendees a systematic presentation of the company’s comprehensive technical strengths. At present, NEW JCM’s core compressor and steam turbine technologies have joined the world’s first tier. Leveraging its “compressor, steam turbine, and gas turbine” Three Turbomachinery Synergy strategy, the company is steadily expanding its global business footprint.

Hu Mingyi gave a professional presentation on the company’s gas turbine package solutions. He noted that NEW JCM has established an integrated service system covering gas turbine maintenance, spare parts supply, and packaged unit solutions. In particular, in the gas turbine MRO business, the company can provide professional services such as high-precision spare parts development and complex unit overhaul, precisely addressing customers’ pain points in equipment operation and maintenance. It can build a solid foundation for safe production in Central Asian oil and gas extraction, refining, and chemical projects, and empower these projects to achieve stable production, quality improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency gains.

Benchmarks Established, Deepening Presence in the Central Asian Market

In July of this year, the compressor unit overhaul project for the Asia Gas Pipeline LLP (AGP) was successfully completed, with the unit achieving a successful first startup. The company received public recognition from the owner for its strong technical capabilities and full-lifecycle service guarantee. In addition, the company recently signed an Engineering Procurement Agreement with LLP Aktobe Munai Mash Komplect for a 15 MW gas turbine overhaul project and won the bid for the maintenance of eight DG90L2 gas turbines for State Concern "Turkmengas".
