University-Enterprise Collaboration|NEW JCM Group Co.,Ltd. and Liaoning University of Technology Begin a New Chapter in Joint Talent Cultivation
2026-08-05
On July 28, to deepen industry-education integration in Jinzhou and customize local talent cultivation to industry job demands, NEW JCM Group Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as NEW JCM)hosted the delegation, led by Party Secretary Wang Jiang and three others from the School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation at Liaoning University of Technology(hereinafter referred to as LNUT), for a tour and talks. Attending the visit were Wang Lifei, Chairwoman and General Manager of NEW JCM; Liu Huizeng, Deputy General Manager of NEW JCM and Chairman of Jinzhou NEW JCM Machinery Manufacture Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as NEWJCM Machinery); and Cai Baozhu, Deputy General Manager and CTO of NEWJCM Machinery.

Both sides discussed how university-enterprise collaboration can drive high-quality development of high-end equipment manufacturing. We systematically elaborated on our core business, market presence, R&D, and development plans to them. Secretary Wang and his colleagues introduced the School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation covering its history、disciplines、programs and faculty. They also toured the Jinzhou factory and the Dayushan factory. Both sides held substantive discussions on local talent co-development, industry-education alignment, and two-way commercialization of research findings, among others, and reached consensus on pragmatic cooperation initiatives:

1.Shared Geographic Roots and Complementary Strengths: A Solid Foundation for the Cooperation
This partnership is a precise match between Jinzhou’s leading local enterprise and a key local engineering university. Leveraging the advantage of being in the same city, NEWJCM Machinery boasts deep expertise in major technical equipment and strong industrial capabilities, generating a long-term, steady demand for quality local technical talent. The School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation at LNUT, with its strong foundation in mechanical engineering, offers talent development programs that closely align with the company’s business focus. It can, therefore, consistently supply local specialized talent, providing solid support for university-enterprise collaboration.
2.Establishing a Special Scholarship to Incentivize Young Talent Growth
To deepen industry-education integration and empower university-enterprise collaboration and innovation, the “NEW JCM Special Scholarship at the School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation, LNUT” has been established. It provides targeted incentives for outstanding students who excel both academically and morally, precisely covering the core programs. This scholarship lays a solid foundation for young technical talent to immerse themselves in their studies and research.
3.Dedicated Research Funding to Empower Joint R&D
NEW JCM allocates dedicated research funds for the School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation, providing targeted support for university research teams to conduct projects centered on the iterative upgrades of the company’s core products. This initiative helps break down resource barriers between the university and the enterprise, enabling both sides to jointly tackle key technical challenges in industry.
4.Focusing on Practice-Oriented Talent Development: Building a Closed Loop for Local Talent Cultivation
Both sides have abandoned shallow and pro-forma cooperation. Based on local development realities, they have finalized a long-term, pragmatic pathway to collaborative talent cultivation. Leveraging the advantage of being in the same city, the university and enterprise share resources and complement each other’s strengths. The university optimizes its curriculum and practical training systems based on the company’s technical needs. The enterprise opens up its industrial, technical, and platform resources, provides students with early career exposure, and establishes local internship and employment platforms.
Both sides will jointly establish a university-enterprise dual-tutor talent cultivation mechanism, promote faculty exchange, and facilitate mutual research empowerment. In doing so, they aim to build a closed-loop talent development system characterized by “on-campus cultivation, local employment, and company retention.” This approach will accurately meet the company’s need for local talent retention and foster a favorable landscape of university-locality symbiosis and mutually beneficial industry-education cooperation.
Industry and Talent in Sync, Driving Upgrading Together
Going local, developing talent, and boosting industry — this is how NEW JCM fulfills its CSR. In 2026, more than 50 graduates joined the company, putting down roots and growing with it.
The deep, sustained collaboration between NEW JCM and LNUT trains factory-ready technical talent in a targeted way. It drives the company’s technology upgrades and industrial transformation, giving sustained momentum to the high-quality development of the regional industry.
