Academician Liu Guangding Visited Hengtai Aipu to Make Technical Report

On August 9, 2012, Academician Liu Guangding, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and a famous marine geology and geophysicist in my country, visited Hengtai Aipu Company and made a technical report on "China's" Three Seas Strategy "for Oil and Gas Exploration. On the basis of summarizing the history of my country's oil and gas exploration and development and deeply analyzing the energy environment facing my country, Academician Liu put forward the proposal of "On the Second Entrepreneurship of China's Oil and Gas Resources" to the central government on August 17, 2001. On the basis of summarizing the history of my country's oil and gas exploration and development and deeply analyzing the energy environment facing my country, Academician Liu put forward the proposal of "On the Second Entrepreneurship of China's Oil and Gas Resources" to the central government on August 17, 2001. The instructions of relevant leading comrades of the State Council: "We must attach importance to the strategic survey of oil and gas resources, and strive for new breakthroughs in the pre-Cenozoic marine carbonate strata".

Academician Liu pointed out in his report that expanding the sea, going to the sea and going to the world (overseas) are the core contents of the three seas strategy. Starting from China's national status and oil and gas exploration reality, relying on the three seas strategy, exploring a way to solve China's oil and gas problems is the main task and goal of China's oil and gas in the future. Hengtai April company to expand the "three seas" business is in line with the development direction of the industry as a whole wise move.

Executives, department managers and major technical backbones of Hengtai Aipu Company attended the meeting.

Academician Liu's wonderful report aroused great interest among the participants and brought enlightenment to everyone in different aspects.
