On October 12, Tuha Oil Field Exploration and Development Research Institute sent a letter of thanks to Hengtai Aipu Company, congratulating the company on the phased victory of the project "Wenxi 3D Seismic Processing Interpretation and Target Evaluation" and "Fine Description and Target Optimization of Oil and Gas Reservoirs in Qiudong-Wenjisang Area", and expressing gratitude to the members of the project team!
"Fine Description and Target Optimization of Oil and Gas Reservoirs in Qiudong-Wenjisang Area" is a project in the charge of Deng Yalan of Reservoir Development Department. The research area of the project is nearly 355 square kilometers, and there are as many as 854 exploration wells and development wells. The work area has complex structure, many oil and gas bearing layers, complex oil and gas reservoir types, and difficult reservoir geological research. The project team conducted in-depth analysis from the aspects of sequence division and comparison, fine structural interpretation, sedimentary facies and reservoir characteristics, reservoir prediction and fluid detection, logging interpretation and correction, and oil and gas accumulation rules, etc., and completed a lot of work, especially the well location independently reported by the project team passed the audit, reflecting a very high professional level and excellent team spirit.
The project "Wenxi 3D Seismic Processing Interpretation and Target Evaluation" is an integrated processing and interpretation project jointly undertaken by Chen Yan of the Processing Center and Pang Fei of the Reservoir Department. The surface conditions of the project study area are relatively complex, with large formation dip angle, large lateral variation of rock velocity, extremely developed fracture system, long fault thrust distance, and strong shielding effect on seismic waves, which brings great difficulties to seismic data processing and interpretation. The project team overcame the difficulties and successfully passed the acceptance of processing data, laying a solid foundation for the later work.
