Mid-term Report on the 12th Five-Year Major Special 2012 of CNOOC Shenzhen Branch

From November 1 to 2, 2012, Deputy Manager Yang Jianxun and Engineer Rui Zhifeng of the First Department of Geological Comprehensive Research Center led by Professor Deng Hongwen, Chief Engineer Zhang Zhirang of Hengtai Aipu Company, made a mid -2012 report to the leaders of CNOOC Shenzhen Branch on the national 12th Five-Year Plan major project "Comprehensive Research on Identification and Prediction of Strata Lithologic Oil and Gas Reservoirs in Huizhou Sanwei Lianlian Area in Eastern Pearl River Basin. Shenzhen Branch Chief Geologist Shi Hesheng, Dean Zhu Ming of the Research Institute, Chief Geologist Dai Yiding, Chief Engineer Wang Ruiliang, Chief Du Jiayuan, Chief Shu Yu, Chief Chen Xuefang, Manager He Min and other leaders and experts attended the mid-term acceptance meeting. The expert group fully affirmed and highly appraised the project and had a deeper and more specific understanding of the strength of our company.
This project is the first major research project on the integration of geology, geophysics and reservoir formation undertaken by Hengtai Aipu in CNOOC Shenzhen Branch. After the start of the project, our research team overcame a series of difficulties such as long travel time, short research period, heavy workload, strict quality control, high pre-drilling prediction risk and so on, and finally established the regional tectonic sedimentary model and reservoir combination, and implemented the trap and preferred target design well location.
This time, under the condition that many Party B jointly carried out technical research at the same time, our team has always devoted itself to research and worked tirelessly to overcome one technical difficulty after another, and finally made the results stand out with excellent results, which won the unanimous praise of Party A's leaders and experts, won great honor for Hengtai Aipu Company and successfully completed the phased tasks. At present, CNOOC Shenzhen Branch has made clear the intention of long-term cooperation with the company, which has laid a solid foundation for the good and harmonious cooperation between our company and CNOOC Shenzhen Branch in the future.
The research results not only play an important guiding role in the future exploration and development deployment of Shenzhen Branch, but also fully demonstrate our company's ability to solve the problem of difficult stratigraphic lithologic trap exploration. At the same time, it will also have far-reaching significance to enhance the company's business reputation and brand awareness.
