Huangqiao reverse fault project successfully passed the acceptance

On June 9, 2013, the Exploration Department of Sinopec East China Branch organized experts from the Geological Institute, the Geophysical Institute and the Branch Company to conduct a final strict review of the "2012 Permian Longtan Formation Fracture and Reservoir Prediction Research in Huangqiao Area, Lower Yangzi" project undertaken by Hengtai Aipu Geological Comprehensive Research Department in Nanjing, and it was excellent and successfully passed the acceptance.
The study work area is an area that has experienced repeated actions of major tectonic movements in multiple periods, with alternating compressive tensile stresses and complex stratigraphic structural faults. After decades of exploration, structural complexity is still the key problem restricting the discovery of oil and gas in this area. The project team started from tackling key problems of pre-stack seismic data amplitude-preserving processing technology, and obtained seismic data with high signal-to-noise ratio and significantly improved imaging effect. Then, the project team carried out fine structural interpretation and pre-stack and post-stack reservoir, fracture and fluid detection, and achieved a large number of research results. A number of high-quality proposed well sites were proposed, and the project research tasks were successfully or even exceeded. Systematic analysis of CO2 accumulation mechanism in this area, the theory of mantle and thermal genesis is put forward. The technical route of coal removal and mud removal has been successfully applied in reservoir prediction, which greatly reduces the risk of favorable zone evaluation. A set of technical ideas and solutions suitable for reverse fault structure interpretation, reverse fault inversion modeling and reverse fault attribute plane map have been formed. It has greatly promoted the perfection and application of software products and opened up a precedent for exploration and research in areas with developed reverse faults.
The experts at the meeting spoke highly of the results of the project and believed that this is the most complete interpretation result in the Huangqiao area so far. The project has always been closely integrated with geological and geophysical prospecting, and the conclusions are credible, which provides an important decision for exploration and development deployment. Reference basis. And expressed willingness to continue to cooperate with Hengtai Aipu in the fields of exploration, development and research.
