Milestone in the Cooperation Journey-Record of Hengtai Aipu Expert Team Attends Range Project Site Work Meeting in Trinidad

On September 7, 2014, a team of 9 experts from Hengtai Aipu, led by General Manager Tang Chengfeng, went to Trinidad and Tobago to participate in a 3-day on-site work meeting organized by Range Resources Limited, Ltd., and the two sides used the seminar as a platform to exchange their preliminary understanding and discuss the next work.
In this discussion, the Hengtai Aipu expert team mainly reported on the geological understanding of the three production blocks Beach Marcelle, Morn Diablo and South Quarry and the reservoir engineering plan to expand the water injection experiment. During the meeting, the expert team also visited the on-site production facilities in the Beach Marcelle oil field and the drilling operation site in the Morn Diablo oil field.
This on-site working meeting is a milestone in the cooperation between Hengtai Aipu Company and Range Company. It marks that the cooperation between the two parties has begun to achieve results and mutual trust, and has laid a good foundation for the implementation of the "Comprehensive Service General Contract" in the next 8 years. After discussion, the two sides agreed that by introducing China's secondary oil recovery technology represented by stratified water injection, Range's oilfield assets in Trinidad can increase oilfield production and efficiency, and achieve the goal of win-win cooperation between the two sides.
After the on-site work meeting, Deputy General Manager Wang Guohui will lead engineering experts to continue to investigate and study the oilfield engineering situation and lay out the water injection development plan for the next step.
