On September 10, 2017, Hainan Company held a review meeting on the site selection and drilling geological design and engineering design of dry hot rock development in Fuhai Geothermal Field. The leaders and experts of the Engineering Technology Department of the relevant cooperation units and the leaders and experts of the Drilling Engineering Institute participated in the review meeting. At the meeting, the experts fully discussed and demonstrated the geological design and engineering design of the deep well for the development of dry hot rock, and further revised and improved the implementation plan based on the valuable opinions and suggestions put forward by the experts. The successful convening of this meeting indicates that the development and utilization of high-quality dry hot rock geothermal energy of Hainan Company has entered a substantial construction stage.

After the meeting, Chairman Sun Gengwen, Professor Li Dewei and other relevant experts met with the relevant provincial leaders of Hainan Province and made a report on Hengtai Aipu's strategic vision and investment plan for the development and high quality of dry hot rock geothermal energy in Hainan, which was affirmed and valued by the relevant provincial leaders.
