The National Development and Reform Commission recently approved the third line of the West-East Gas Transmission Line between Fujian and Guangdong. The project starts in Zhangzhou, Fujian, and is connected to the eastern section of the third line of the West-East Gas Pipeline. Finally, it is connected to the Guangzhou-Shenzhen branch of the second line of the West-East Gas Pipeline. It passes through the two provinces of Fujian and Guangdong. The total length of the line is 575 kilometers and the design capacity is 5.8 billion cubic meters per year. The total investment is about 6 billion yuan. After the completion of the project will increase the supply of natural gas in eastern Guangdong, southern Fujian and areas along the route, and promote the upgrading of local industries.
